Location. The Columbia Lakes Resort Hotel is located on 2,000 acres of wooded grounds, golf courses and tennis courts in West Columbia, Texas. The resort is two miles from the Varner Hogg Plantation Historical Park. The Sea Center of Texas and Ponyland are 22 mile away. About 25 miles from the resort lie the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
Hotel Features. Fine dining is offered on site at The Brazos restaurant. The on site neighborhood sports bar provides complimentary billiards and shuffleboards. As both a hotel and conference center, the Columbia Lakes Resort Hotel houses 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting and exhibit space. Business services are available upon request in the hotel lobby. Recreational activities include an 18 hole Fazio designed golf course and driving range. Additional activities include an eight court tennis complex, an outdoor pool, fitness equipment and an arcade game room.
Guestrooms. The resort offers 164 guestrooms and private villas with separate bedding, desk and sitting areas. Select accommodations overlook the lagoon, golf course or tennis complex and include kitchenettes, refrigerators and microwave ovens. Select guestrooms offer vaulted ceilings. Cable television is provided.
Expert Tip. On property is a 300 acre fishing lake which the hotel stocked regularly with trophy sized bass, complimentary for guests to catch and claim for their own.
